The Sentry Basic CDU products provide reliable power distribution for all the devices in the equipment cabinet, from 2kW-6kW
per cabinet. Available in single-phase 110-120V or 208-240V power distribution with 20A or 30A options and 3-phase 208-240V
power distribution with 20A, 30A, 50A or 60A options
The Sentry Metered CDU products provide reliable power distribution for all devices in the equipment cabinet, from 2kW-22kW
per cabinet. Available in single-phase 110-120V or 208-240V or 3-Phase 208-240V power distribution with 20A, 30A, 50A or
60A options. Local input current monitoring allows the installation engineer to verify the aggregate load on the circuit or phase.
The Smart CDU products provide reliable power distribution coupled with remote power & environmental monitoring. Use the
network interface to view power, temperature and humidity levels via Web browser, or SNMP-based and email alerts when
conditions exceed defi ned thresholds.
The Switched CDU products provide the capability to securely monitor and control cabinet power remotely for a data center or
remote branch offi ce. The Switched CDU’s combine remote confi guration and management with power distribution and power
and environmental monitoring. Reboot a single or dual power server with one command. Receive SNMP-based or email alerts
when power or environmental conditions exceed thresholds. Assign access rights to user groups or individuals. Switched CDU
products provide the fl exibility needed for all data centers and remote sites, including power requirements for high-amperage and
high-voltage, UL 60950-1 Branch Circuit Protection, and SNMP traps and email alerts including current monitoring.
The Smart POPS Rack PDU products provide reliable power distribution coupled with remote/network power and environmental monitoring. Use the network interface to view power, temperature and humidity levels via Web browser, or SNMP-based and email alerts when conditions exceed defined thresholds. POPS provides power monitoring per an individual outlet/device. Power information per individual outlet /device includes current, voltage, power (kW), apparent power, crest factor, and power factor.
Data center power monitoring is important in today's data centers, and POPS Rack PDUs give you the information you need to make critical decisions.
Switched Rack Power Distribution Unit plus Per Outlet Power Sensing (POPS)
The POPS Switched Rack PDU products provide the capability to securely monitor power per individual outlet/ device. Power information per individual outlet/device includes current, voltage, power (kW), apparent power, crest factor, accumulated energy, and power factor. Using our grouping technology through Sentry Power Manager (SPM), power information is available per device, groups of devices (application), individual PDU or rack. POPS Switched PDUs combine networked configuration and management with power distribution and power and environmental monitoring. The POPS Switched PDU enables you to:
- Control rack power via a network (ON/OFF/REBOOT);
- Reboot a single or dual power server with one command;
- Receive SNMP-based or email alerts when power or environmental conditions exceed thresholds;
- Assign access rights to user groups or individuals.
POPS Switched PDU products provide the flexibility needed for all data centers and remote sites, including power requirements for high amperage and high-voltage, Branch Circuit Protection, and SNMP traps and email alerts including current monitoring. Regarding data center power, Switched PDUs are perfect for data center managers who need the most accurate power information at the most accurate place to measure the servers' power. When paired with Sentry Power Manager, you have the complete Sentry Power System.
Provides fail-over redundancy to single or dual power supply servers and network devices. Exclusive to the Fail-Safe Transfer Switch is its ability to carry loads on both the A and B circuits during normal operation. Unlike a common automatic transfer switch, the Fail-Safe unit is unique in that the "A" in-feed routinely powers half the outlets, and the "B" in-feed routinely powers the other half. However, if either in-feed goes down, the other powers all outlets. This "Fail-Safe" method has several advantages compared to a standard ATS. A standard ATS contains two-in-feeds, but runs all outlets from just one source, with the secondary source only being used once an outage occurs. The Server Technology design does not prohibit load balancing between the two supplied circuits which results in less heat and a lower voltage drop compared to the same load existing on just one source. Only when an outage occurs on one of the two sources will the entire load be applied to a single source.
